Our first week in 2010

Happy New Year!

P1045147

It was such a great week for school this week.  Not the best, but we got something done every day, and everything seemed to get accomplished so easily.  The kids were so eager to get back into the school routine, and so was I.  Here is our week in review:

Everyday we try to do some calendar things:

My preschooler, Aaron, is still working on getting interested in the calendar so all we do for right now is put the number up, and sing the days of the week.  I try to point to a number and say something fun we did on that day, like swimming, and I think that helped him realize that each number really correlates with a day.  That really sparked his interest.
