Merry Christmas
From all of us!
On Christmas eve I took the time to clean up the chicken coop a little, and decided to spread some wood shavings because it was really muddy all over. I think they loved it. It also reminded me of snow all over inside their coop, and I thought it would have been a really cute Christmas card.
They were some happy hens, so I decided to snap a few more pictures of them...
It is so peaceful to just hang outside and watch them sometimes. Listening to their little "chatter" while they happily peck at the grass and all around looking for treats. I can't wait until it's dryer and warmer so I can hang outside with them more. Desiree
