We are learning the states in some FUN ways around here!
First we have this cool game. We all love to play! It's sequence states and capitals. You match the capitals to the states, and while we are playing it we say each capital and state to really get them memorized. It's also just fun to play.
This puzzle is pretty neat because all the puzzle pieces are shaped like the state or province, or lake. My 2 year old even loves to do this one, but he obviously has to have help.
This particular picture was of Aric putting it together.
Remember how we did the great postcard swap? Well, if you don't...we received postcards from each state, and sent out 50 postcards from our state to each of the other states. It was pretty fun. Well, this was the fun activity we got in the mail after it was all done. A big foam puzzle
See the orange envelope? That's the envelope we got with all those foam state pieces. April had fun putting it together.
I have no idea where the foam state pieces can be found, they are sticky on the back and came printed on foam craft. Maybe they were printed on a personal computer???
Well, we thought they were pretty neat, and so fun to put together.
Learning the states is a happy thing!
