Our ladies have become very friendly, and very curious! It brings so much joy to watch the kids run around with them in the backyard. Especially the baby, he gets so giddy over them. When we are out back, also, they'll sometimes come up to me and see if I have anything for them. It's fun to see them so friendly and interactive with us.

Isn't it great? I never thought chickens would have personalities and be friendly, but ours will lie in laps watching TV or swing with the kids on the hammock (gently). They do seem to enjoy the companionship...and the kids think it's fun!
