Aric is currently 35 months old
This all happened several weeks ago. We are now on letter E this week, so I really need to catch up on the tot school posts! I don't think I got many pictures this week, but we did do a lot.
He did his Highway letters Cc. He decided to line them all up on the floor this time. He really loves doing these letters every week.
This was a tot tray activity. He sorted the colored paper clips and then we put tried to put them on the same foam color sheet. He couldn't clip them on very well. We'll have to try this one again later when he can get the paper clips to work and it doesn't frustrate him.
Here he is doing some tot school printables. He is on the letter C, and the theme for the week was cats. He lined up the cats, numbers, and letters in order while eating his breakfast!
To show more tot school printables in the picture below, here is his "cat" shape train on the left, and the numbers on top. The sight words are for Aaron.
We picked up some glow in the dark magnet letters at Safeway, so Aric had fun playing with those for a while. They glow pretty good if you shine a flashlight or something on them first.
This is Aric's cat craft.
Another tot try activity, sorting glow in the dark bugs from the bug cage.
This is a new tot tray activity idea I had. This kid loves to play trains, so I thought if I put only certain pieces on the tray for him to make a specific shape out of he could get better at building trains AND practice his shapes too. This tray was a big hit! He wanted to build it over and over again. This particular set was for a circle.
I want to put a picture on the tray also, so he knows what shape to build it in. I didn't have the picture yet, so I just told him.
And, some of the best parts of tot school are just plain old playing...he loves his cars!
