Mt. Hood Snow Trip

We had a fun Saturday as a family up in the mountain, playing in the snow. Even April came home to join us! It was a youth trip with church, so we drove all our boys up there and made it a family adventure too. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day.

Mt. Hood--April waited a long time to get this shot as it was almost constantly covered with some clouds. They finally cleared enough for this perfect picture.

There were a lot of people at this particular park. It was a busy Saturday! But there was plenty of space and lots of little hills to sled on. Alex really liked this one that had a jump at the bottom. April pushed him for a little more speed.

April climbed this big huge rock and I took this awesome picture of her. 

The scenery at Mt. Hood did not disappoint. It's amazing what beauty a mountain and snow can hold.

That wraps up this adventure! I wish I had gotten more pictures. We had homemade chili for lunch, lots of laughter with friends from church, and relaxing moments sitting outside the truck enjoying the outdoors. I forget to take out my camera sometimes when I'm enjoying the moments so much. 

Clogging

As some of you know, I have joined a clogging class! I get to spend 2 hours/week dancing at the studio with a group of lovely ladies, and then I come home and practice. At first, I would just wear my socks and practice the moves without my shoes on, but now I have a small dance floor!

Meet my new dance floor! And my shoes. It's a small area for now as that's all I can fit. I do have more squares that I can add when I get a bigger area, but for now, this will have to do. It's pretty cool being able to hear the tapping sound while practicing at home. It's also very loud. Good thing it's in a room where I can close the door!

I thought it'd be fun to share a close-up picture of my shoes. Especially now while they are still sorta new. I sure love the sound they make and I'm having a lot of fun!
