Today's science experiment was making a simple pulley. I took this idea out of the book 365 simple science experiments, and it worked pretty well, the first time. For some reason we couldn't get it to work when we changed the load. We couldn't get it to hang right. But, the first lift was pretty neat, and my daughter loved it. I think we'll make another one that I found here at zoom.
Also, this experiment goes along with the book Lanie-American Girl because in the book there is a "rabbit elevator". So, I am going to make something to go along with this in her lapbook, I just haven't figured out what yet.
